Brad Pitt vs Bruce Lee: Postmodern Death Match

Despite the mauling I gave Tarantino's Hateful 8, and despite having promised myself never again to watch one of his movies, Once Upon In Hollywood was getting some fair coverage in our circles so I knuckled down once again to a Tarantino fest.

And the standout scene of the movie was seeing Brad Pitt humiliating Bruce Lee which genuinely made me laugh out loud, and then the hysterical reaction of the Bruce Lee fanboys added a nice dollop of satisfaction.

In the end though, where is there left to go for postmodern American pop culture other than to trash and humiliate all ideals, all respected figures and all traditions and cultures.

The Times vs Mark Collett's YouTube Channel

It's a good thing we don't have an elite who run child sex rings and then mysteriously commit suicide while on suicide watch, because if we did The Times would look pretty retarded for carrying an entire article on Mark Collett's YouTube channel.

 Oh wait, they did...

I don't have much to say on this but because The Times is behind a paywall and fewer people can access their material I thought I'd post it here.

Mass Shootings & Sabotaged Societies

As the blame game begins in earnest over the recent shooting spree in America we have to consider how so many flaws in western society are simply not being addressed. A destructive idea takes root and for some strange reason it's never replaced by a better idea, just more bad ideas.
